Terms of service

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of Wild Telemetry, a desktop telemetry analysis application distributed by Dídac Cañete Tinoco. By activating the application with a code you accept these conditions.

2. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the application. The licence is activated with a named code carrying an expiry date. Redistribution, decompilation and reverse engineering are not permitted, nor is passing the activation code to third parties.

3. Expiry and revocation: never a lockout

When a licence expires or is revoked, the application switches toread-only mode: you can still open and inspect every session you had already imported, and importing new sessions is blocked. None of your data is deleted or made inaccessible. This guarantee is deliberate and is part of the product.

4. Your data

Sessions, setups, maths-channel formulas and history are stored exclusively on your own machine. We hold no copy and have no access to them, and therefore cannot recover them if you lose them: backups are your responsibility.

5. Updates

The application updates through its own auto-update system. Bug fixes reach every user, including those whose licence has expired.

6. Nature of the analysis, and absence of warranty

Wild Telemetry interprets binary files from vendors who do not publish their formats. The application always reports its decode confidence and warns when a channel cannot be interpreted reliably. Even so, the software is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy for any particular purpose.

Results are a decision-support tool, not a setup recommendation or a driving instruction. Responsibility for any technical or sporting decision rests with whoever takes it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner's total liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the licence in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to it. No liability is accepted for indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of data. Nothing in this clause excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor any rights granted on a mandatory basis by consumer legislation.

8. Cancellation

You may stop using the application at any time and request erasure of your data under the privacy policy. A fixed-term licence does not renew automatically.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of the owner's domicile, unless mandatory consumer rules provide another forum.
